2009 GTCC Men’s
Club Championship Congratulations to Ben Hubbard, who shot a 61 to win the Championship Flight in the Georgetown Country Club’s Men’s Championship on Saturday, July 25. The 18 hole medal play tournament began in rain and ended with sun and breeze. Ben nipped former champions Mike Talik and Tony Woodrich by two strokes. Webmaster Terry Gromacki finished three strokes back. The First Flight ended in a tie with both Dave Hamill and Eric Stepnitz carding a 66. Dave won on the first sudden death playoff hole. Mark Ford shot a 72 to claim the Second Flight honors. Congrats to our club champions (not pictured – Mark Ford):
