Membership deadline applies to renewing members only.  New members may join anytime!

** Note: Monthly payments do not need to begin in October.  If a member chooses to begin monthly payments at a later date the payment amount will simply be distributed over the remaining months with the final payment being made on May 15. 

payment Options

A variety of payment options are available for the 2008 season.  Please note that returning members must commit to a     payment plan and submit the first payment by March 31, 2008 or the membership will expire and late fees will apply.  New       members may join at any time (the March 31 deadline only applies to returning members).  The payment options are as   follows:

·        Single Payment Option (Payment made in full)

·        Double Payment Option (Payment #1 due by March 31 and Payment #2 due by May 15; this would be an      automated account deduction; visit the pro shop to register)

·        Monthly Payment Option (Monthly payments would be made over an 8 month period beginning October 15, with    the final payment being made on May 15; this would be an automated account deduction; visit the pro shop

      to register)*

 2008 Georgetown Country Club Membership Categories

Full Memberships

     Family Membership: Entitles full member privileges to the membership holder and a spouse/significant other that has

    resided in the household for a minimum of 12 months.  All additional members listed on the application must be children

    that can be claimed as dependents, stepchildren, or individuals under legal guardianship of the membership holder or      

s  spouse/significant other.  Family members have access to all program areas (golf course, pool, tennis courts) when

   classes or leagues are not in session.  Greens fees are waived and attendance at all social events is included.  The

   membership holder may vote during the annual board meeting and election.

     2-Person Membership: Entitles full member privileges to the membership holder and one additional person that is either

   a spouse/significant other that has resided in the household for a minimum of 12 months, child claimed as a dependent,

   stepchild or individual under the legal guardianship of the membership holder.  2-Person membership holders have access

   to all program areas (golf course, pool, tennis courts) when classes or leagues are not in session.  Greens fees are waived

   and attendance at all social events is included.  The membership holder may vote during the annual board meeting and

   election.

I    Individual Membership: Entitles one person (18+ years of age) full membership privileges that include access to all

   program areas (golf course, pool, tennis courts) when classes or leagues are not in session.  Greens fees are waived and

   attendance at all social events is included.  The membership holder may vote during the annual board meeting and election.

    Junior Membership: Entitles one person (entering the 9^th grade through age 20) full membership privileges that include

    access to all program areas (golf course, pool, tennis courts) when classes or leagues are not in session.  Greens fees are

    waived and attendance at all social events is included.  Student identification or a driver’s license must be presented at the

    time of registration. The membership holder is not eligible to vote during the annual board meeting and election.

     Senior Membership: Entitles one person (60+ years of age) full membership privileges that include access to all program

    areas (golf course, pool, tennis courts) when classes or leagues are not underway.  Greens fees are waived and attendance

    at all social events is included.    Members who have paid the initiation fee may vote during the annual board meeting and

    election.  Senior members who have not paid the initiation fee are not eligible to vote during the annual board meeting and

    election.

    Senior 2-Person Membership: Entitles full member privileges to the membership holder and one additional person that

   is either a spouse/significant other (that has resided in the household for a minimum of 12 months), child claimed as a

   dependent, stepchild or individual under the legal guardianship of the membership holder.  One of the members must be

   60+ years of age.  Senior 2-Person membership holders have access to all program areas (golf course, pool, tennis courts)

   when classes or leagues are not in session.  Greens fees are waived and attendance at all social events is included.  The   

    membership holder may vote during the annual board meeting and election.

    Inactive Membership: This allows current members to put the membership on hold for one season.  This may be utilized

   only once during the term of the membership.  Members must submit the application and payment before the membership

   renewal deadline or the membership will expire.  In the event a membership expires, all applicable fees will be assessed to

   renew the membership.  Inactive members do not have facility privileges during the season or voting rights during the annual

   board meeting and election.

Specialty memberships

    Family Pool/Tennis Membership: Entitles limited member privileges to the membership holder and a spouse/significant

   other that has resided in the household for a minimum of 12 months.  All additional members listed on the application must

   be children that can be claimed as dependents, stepchildren, or individuals under legal guardianship of the membership

   holder or spouse/significant other.  Allows members to utilize the pool during specified recreational open swim times and

   allows for participation in all swim/dive/synchro lessons and teams.  Members may utilize the tennis courts when

   lessons/leagues are not in session and are eligible to participate in all tennis lessons and teams.  Normal greens fees apply

   to family pool/tennis members when utilizing the golf course.  Family pool/tennis members may participate in golf lessons if

   space is available (full and golf/tennis members receive priority registration).  A fee equal to twice the member rate will be

   charged to family pool/tennis members for golf lessons.  Golf league participation is not available to family pool/tennis

   members.  

F   Family Golf/Tennis Membership: Entitles limited member privileges to the membership holder and a spouse/significant

   other that has resided in the household for a minimum of 12 months.  All additional members listed on the application must

   be children that can be claimed as dependents, stepchildren, or individuals under legal guardianship of the membership

   holder or spouse/significant other.  Allows members to utilize the golf course when leagues and lessons are not in session.              

   Members may utilize the tennis courts when lessons/leagues are not in session and are eligible to participate in all tennis

   lessons and teams.  Family golf/tennis members may participate in swim/dive lessons if space is available (full and

   pool/tennis members receive priority registration).  A fee equal to twice the member rate will be charged to family

   golf/tennis members for swim/dive lessons.  Swim/dive/synchro team participation is not available to family golf/tennis

   members. 

     Limited Membership: Entitles limited member privileges to the membership holder (if a Family Limited, 2-Person Limited

    or Senior 2-Person Limited membership is selected a spouse/significant other that has resided in the household for a

    minimum of 12 months may also be added to the membership).  All additional members listed on the application for a Family

    Limited membership must be children that can be claimed as dependents, stepchildren, or individuals under legal guardianship

    of the membership holder or spouse/significant other.  This membership is now available to all members and will award each

    person listed on the application 15 non-transferable, full facility day passes to be used individually.  In other words, limited

    members no longer have to share their 15 passes amongst the other members listed on the application.  This membership

    allows utilization of the golf course, pool and tennis courts the day a pass is used.  Limited members may participate in golf

    leagues but are not eligible to participate in golf/swim/tennis lessons or the swim/dive/synchro teams.

    Trial Membership: This membership allows prospective Club members an opportunity to see what the Club has to offer

   before committing to paying the initiation fee.  Trial memberships are available in all membership categories and are valid for

   one year only.  Trial members are not eligible to vote during the annual board meeting and election.  Trial members who

   choose to return for a second season must pay the one-time new member initiation fee, which can be paid over a three

   year term (please speak with Club Management for more details).
