Do I have to live in Georgetown
to be a member?
|
|
|
|
No! We have members from
all over Washtenaw County and beyond.
|
|
|
|
As a member, can I bring guests?
|
|
|
|
Yes - With your new membership
you receive 5 free Pool passes. Additional passes may be purchased
for the pool or tennis courts for a fee in the Pro Shop. The golf
course is open to guests; normal greens fees apply. All guests must
register at the Pro Shop. Please refer to the member handbook for more
information regarding guest policies.

Are there tee times for the golf
course?
|
|
|
|
Yes - But typically, a tee time is not needed. The
course is semi-private and closes for leagues and events
periodically. We suggest you call ahead to check availability.

How do I become a member?
|
|
|
|
A current application must be
completed and turned into the Pro Shop by mail, fax, or drop-off.
Memberships run April 1 - March 31 of every year. You may join
anytime during the summer. Memberships are accepted on a rolling
admission basis as spots are available. Memberships are not
pro-rated. Each new member must pay the category applicable annual
dues and the one-time initiation fee.

What is the one-time
initiation/membership fee?
|
|
|
|
The 2009 initiation fee is $550
for every category, payable over two years. Or one time fee of
$450. Initiation fees are paid only once during the course of a
membership. After the initiation fee is paid, members pay only annual
dues.
The Junior category does not pay initiation fee.

New members
and 2009Trial members who wish to renew as full members will have a
$275 initiation fee. This initiation fee will be applied to your 2011
membership cost if you renew.
ex. New family
membership in 2010 is $1395+$275=$1670. Renew your membership in 2011 and
pay
$1395-$275=$1120. (i.e. no initiation fee with two year commitment)
**Early sign
up incentives are sometimes available. Which could lower your cost
even more.

Who can use my family
membership?
|
|
|
|
A family membership entitles
member privileges to the membership holder and a spouse/significant other
that has resided in the house hold for a minimum of 12 months. All
additional members listed on the application must be children that can be
claimed as dependents, stepchildren, or individuals under legal
guardianship of the membership holder or spouse/significant other.

|
|
Can my caretaker or babysitter
bring my children to the facilities?
|
|
|
|
Yes - An accompaniment pass may
be purchased by parents or guardians who would like to have their children
utilize the facility when in the care of a babysitter or caretaker.
The accompaniment pass holder may not visit the facility when the parent/guardian
is present or when not caring for the children.

|
What else do I need to know
about becoming a member?
|
|
|
|
Credit card payments
(Visa/Mastercard), checks and cash are accepted. Annual dues and
initiation fees are non-refundable. All members MUST complete and
return the original application each year. Renewing members must have

What is the 'refer a member'
program?
|
|
|
|
New members are always
welcome. Current members who recruit/refer new families who join
Georgetown become eligible to win a free membership for the following
season. A drawing for the free membership takes place at the Labor
Day pool party. Contact our General Manager for membership packets.
