Georgetown Country Club is the home to four regulation tennis courts and a
rapidly growing tennis program. The courts are available to members when
lessons are not in session and there are no court fees! A variety of
programming is offered by our talented tennis staff, Garrett Kessler and
Courtney Lymburner.
Courtney first started playing tennis at Georgetown at the age of six. She is
currently on the Varsity Tennis Team at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School. She is a
two-time captain and was named
an All State Player last season. Courtney has
been teaching tennis for two years and enjoys working with both kids and adults.
Garrett is
in his final semester of high school at Pioneer. He has played tennis
recreationally since he was five, and has played in tournaments since he was
ten. He played at Pioneer High School for four years. Last
season his record was 31-2, and he
won conference and regional titles at 2 doubles. He was awarded All-Conference
and All-State awards.
Both are
very excited to be launching a new tennis program here this summer!
